Reasons for ".audio

SYRINX began when architect Hirotaka Satoh created a speaker for a space he had designed.

The speakers, with their soft, heavy leather body, were well received for their clear, drifting sound. In response, a patent was obtained and the SYRINX audio brand was born.

This is why the SYRINX domain is ".audio".

And to leather items

We searched for the best leather for the sound and came across vacchetta leather, which is tanned in the traditional Italian way.
The color and luster of the leather is beautifully aged, and you can enjoy its leather-like qualities.
However, the production of speakers produces a large amount of scrap wood.

We want to use up the life we have been given with care.

With this in mind, we began developing leather items that make use of the scraps. Since then, vachetta leather has become a representative leather of SYRINX products.
The iconic business card case " Tsutsumu® " was born as SYRINX's first leather item.

BRAND STORY - 2018

Hitoe® is born.

After the launch of Tsutsumu®, under the theme of "light in body and mind," the company released a series of simple and portable iPhone cases, pen cases, document cases, and other products.
Then, realizing that there was a need for a wallet that could be carried lightly, we began development of a wallet.

This is how the "Designer to Consumer" wallet , which specializes in thinness, was born. Hitoe® L-zipis born.

Hitoe® L-zip is a unique product development method.
D2C stands for "Designer to Consumer," and the designer's ideals are directly communicated to the world through crowdfunding. The resulting highly acclaimed ideas are then evolved to reflect user feedback.

It has been a year in which we have been convinced that many people can relate to the "lightness of body and mind" that SYRINX stands for.

Hitoe® Fold is born

After the HITOE® L-zip series, the flagship product "Hitoe® Foldwas born.

Hitoe® Fold -Liscio- has been inundated with pre-orders, reaching up to a year and a half waiting list.

In order to meet the ever-increasing demand and to speed up delivery, we have developed new partner workshops and greatly expanded our production capacity.

BRAND STORY - 2021

Announced the Aria Series

The "Aria" series is now available in " solid" leather, which is made of thinly strained leather and pasted together, instead of the conventional vachetta leather.

The first Aria product was the " Tsutsumu Card Case Aria," the origin of SYRINX. The crowdfunding campaign for the Hitoe® Fold Aria was the largest ever, and the Aria is now firmly established as SYRINX's top-of-the-line model.

SDGs・SYRINX人道支援募金

これまでも取り組んできた環境配慮への取り組みを本格化しました。

・廃棄されるB品やサンプル品を活用した「どこでもショールーム」の開始。
・廃棄されるダミーカードを使えるカードに変える「Multi Ruler Card」。
・梱包のOPP袋を中止し、紙のスリーブに。「減プラへの取り組み

その他、SRYINX人道支援募金を開始し、ウクライナなどへ人道支援の募金活動も開始しました。
