MEKURU Pen Case
Small pen case that is easy to take out
A fog-like look "Foschia" collection
"Foschia" is an Italian word for "haze". The more you use it, the more the white wax rubs and penetrates, and the haze becomes clear, giving the leather a transparent look. (For details, see the explanation of leather)
Pen case to use "turn over"
"A small pen case for adults."
"MEKURU" is a pen case for adults that fits neatly in the side pockets of the bag and the chest pocket of the jacket, carries only 2-4 important pens, and can be used smartly.
Challenges of slim pen cases
There are only a few e-books to carry, and for those who like them, a slim and small pen case that fits easily in a bag or pocket is perfect.
However, the slim pen case is difficult to check the contents, and it is difficult to remove the pen. If you can't take out the pen smoothly, it's not smart.
《MEKURU》 solves the problem while being slim.
Suddenly "turn over" and take out quickly
The feature of "MEKURU" is that the fastener is turned to the back side. With this ingenuity, you can "turn over" the top and take out the pen with minimal movement.
This "turning" feeling is the response that is only possible with luxurious thick leather of about 2 mm. You can use it for a long time without worrying that the lining will wear out.
Wide open to pen tray
If you open the zipper widely, it can be used as a convenient pen tray while it is placed on the desk.
Compact and lean size
The S size can store 160-2 pens up to 4 mm, the L size can store 176-3 pens up to 5 mm, and the Apple Pencil.
Because it is compact, we have been stuck with a sense of size without waste.
The zipper is gusseted without binding leather to leather, so there is no waste in size. It is a pen case with a special leather and just the right size.
Attention to detail
The fastener puller is an original tool whose mold is custom made to YKK.
A simple design with no logo on the surface and only a straight line and a circle. The hole is perfectly circular, so that unnecessary force is not applied to the slider and durability is considered.
The brand logo is engraved small on the back of the handle so as to be as inconspicuous as possible, so as not to impair the simple design. In addition, it is also convex and non-slip. The thicker tip when viewed from the side is the result of sticking to the pinch.
Although it is a very small part, it condenses the philosophy of SYRINX design.
"Excella", Japan's top YKK fastener
The zipper employs YKK's top-of-the-line fastener "EXCELLA", which is adopted by many high brands.
The difference between Excella and regular fasteners is that the elements are carefully refined and polished. However, if you do not use it with a loupe, you can hardly see the difference. Rather, it would be surprising to say that normal metal fasteners move more smoothly. Excella has a little bit of play in the engagement, so it is hard to start using and you may feel a little stuck.
So why is Excella?
Because the durability is different. Faster fasteners with lower precision have a weaker engagement and lighter movement, but can cause problems such as the fasteners coming off after long use. It is said that the durability of Excella, which is carefully polished and carefully extruded, on each of the working teeth (the meshing metal parts) is several times that of normal fasteners. The movement becomes smooth as you use it.
It is usually used for high-end purses and rarely used for pen cases, but since it opens and closes many times a day, it is particular about quality.
Careful tailoring by Japanese leather craftsmen
SYRINX's lean minimal design requires high precision. For this reason, SYRINX products are not mass-produced in factories, but carefully selected from small workshops in Japan that have high technical skills, and have been carefully implementing SYRINX's commitment.

hazeLook like Foschia
"Foschia", an Italian word for "haze". A series with a white wax look like a haze.
The tannin tanned double shoulder is made of white waxed leather, and the white powder is called wax. The more you use it, the more the wax on the surface rubs and penetrates, and the haze becomes clear, giving the leather the original transparent look.
The leather has a firm impression on the surface while containing enough oil.
The shoulder is also a part that contains lots of rose scratches, uneven color, blood streaks and tigers (wrinkles), and you can enjoy the expression unique to natural leather.
No oil or wax is required, so no maintenance is required.
* Please note the transfer of wax to dark clothing.
T. Moro (dark brown)
The cattle are grazed on the ranch so that they can grow healthy without stress. The cow is engraved with the "living proof (natural mark)" on the leather.
Like this leather, the finish that makes use of the base material without hiding it with pigments or embossing may have a natural mark.
The Natural Mark is a proof of good quality natural leather, and as you use it, it becomes the unique taste of the product.
Rose wound / bloodline
It is a trace of small scratches and insect bites when bumping or fighting. The more you grow up in an environment closer to nature, the more you grow.Depth, length, and size vary depending on the individual.
It is often found on both the grain and floor after blood vessels.
It is a trace of deep wrinkles that are often seen from around the neck to along the spine.Italian leather is popular because it is said that the more tigers there are, the more beautiful it is.The fiber density is the highest around the spine, and there is no problem with strength.
Color unevenness may occur due to differences in fiber density.Due to the unevenness of the leather quality, it is unavoidable as long as the leather is a natural material.
Please note that it is a unique leather personality.
If SYRINX products are used for their original purpose within the scope of common sense, a warranty period of one year from the date of purchase is provided for material and structural defects.
