Etretat, a beach wrapped in light
Etretat, in Normandy, France, is a coastal area with white limestone cliffs. The gentle light and the serene and poetic scenery of the coast have attracted artists such as Monet.
Inspired by the symphony of nature, this is SYRINX's original calf leather.
Going to France in search of the best original leather
Tannerie Degermann, the company that custom-made our original leather, is located in BARR, a town surrounded by vineyards 35 km south of Strasbourg in the Alsace region of France.
Why did we choose Degermann to produce our original leathers? We chose to work with Degermain because they are the oldest and best tannery in France and have a deep knowledge of tradition and quality.
After numerous exchanges of opinions at De Geyermann, Etruster was finally completed.
The end of Degermann's history
Due to the changing times, Degermann chose to merge with the neighboring Haas, also founded in the 19th century. After our leather production, the historic DeGarman factory will be closed and renovated into a museum.
Etruster, the final piece of DeGarman's history, is the culmination of tradition, passion, and technology. Their craftsmanship and the production of Etretat will be inherited by Haas, who will take it to new heights.
