Pen case to use "turn over"
"A small adult pen case."
"MEKURU" fits neatly in the side pocket of the bag and the chest pocket of the jacket, and you can carry only 2-4 important pens and be smart.
Challenges for slim pencil cases
A small number of pens to carry around are elite, and for such people, a slim and small pen case that fits well in a bag or pocket is perfect.
However, the slimmer the pen case, the harder it is to check the contents and take out the pen. If you can't remove the pen smoothly, it's not smart.
"MEKURU" solves that problem while being slim.
"Turn over" and take it out quickly
The feature of "MEKURU" is that the fastener is turned to the back side. With that ingenuity, you can "turn over" the top and take out the pen with minimal movement.
This "turning" feeling is pleasant because of the luxurious thick leather of about 2 mm. You can use it for a long time without worrying about the lining being worn out.
Open wide and put it on the pen tray
If you open the zipper wide, you can use it as a convenient pen tray while leaving it on your desk.
Compact and lean size
2-4 pens can be stored.
Because it is compact, we are particular about a lean and solid size.
The leather is not bound together, and the zipper becomes a gusset as it is, so there is no waste in size. A comfortable pen case with exceptional leather and just the right size.
Commitment to detail
The fastener puller is an original custom-made mold for YKK.
There is no logo on the surface, and a simple design consisting of only straight lines and circles. The holes are perfectly circular, making it difficult for unnecessary force to be applied to the slider and giving consideration to durability.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the handle so that it is as inconspicuous as possible so as not to spoil the simple design. In addition, it is convex and also serves as a non-slip. When viewed from the side, the thicker the tip is the result of sticking to the ease of pinching.
It's a very small part, but it's a condensed philosophy of SYRINX's design.
Japan's proud YKK superlative fastener "Excella"
The fastener is YKK's highest-end fastener "Excella", which is used by many high-end brands.
The difference between Excella and ordinary fasteners is that each element is carefully polished to create the ultimate in precision. However, if you don't use it with a loupe, you can hardly see the difference in appearance. Rather, it would be surprising to say that ordinary metal fasteners move more smoothly. Since there is little play in meshing with Excella, it is hard to start using and you may feel a little stuck.
So why is it Excella?
That's because the durability is different. The less accurate the fastener, the looser the engagement and the lighter the movement, but problems such as the fastener coming off after a long period of use occur. It is said that the durability of EXCERA, which is made by carefully polishing each of the teeth (metal parts that mesh with each other) and is extremely delicate, is several times that of ordinary fasteners. The movement becomes smoother as you use it.
It is usually used for high-end wallets and rarely used for pen cases, but since it opens and closes many times every day, we are particular about quality.
Careful tailoring by Japanese leather craftsmen
High precision is required for SYRINX's lean and minimalist design. For this reason, SYRINX products are not mass-produced at factories, but are carefully selected from small workshops in Japan with high technological capabilities, and SYRINX's commitment is carefully realized.

About white powder
Since the leather is very oily, the oil component that has exuded from the pores may turn into white powder depending on the temperature, humidity, and ventilation conditions.
This is the same phenomenon as bloom of bridle leather, and it is not a defect of the product.
It is especially noticeable in winter and when the temperature is low, and it may look like mold at first glance, but it can be easily wiped off with a soft cloth. (Parts that are difficult to remove, such as stitches, disappear when warmed)
These symptoms are one of the good properties of oily leather. Thank you for your understanding.
The cows that are the source of this leather are grazing and bred so that they can grow healthy without stress. This leather has a delicate finish so that you can enjoy the original charm of high-quality leather. Therefore, "living proof (natural mark)" such as wrinkles and scratch marks that originally existed may be engraved. The Natural Mark is a proof of good quality natural leather, and as you use it, it becomes the unique taste of the product.
Rose wound / bloodline
It is a trace of a small scratch or insect bite when bumping or fighting. The more you grow up in an environment closer to nature, the more you grow. Depth, length, and size vary depending on the individual.
It is often found after blood vessels, especially on the floor.
It is a trace of deep wrinkles that are often seen from around the neck to along the spine. Italian leather is popular because it is said that the more tigers there are, the more beautiful it is. The fiber density around the spine is the highest, and there is no problem with strength.
Color unevenness may occur due to differences in fiber density. Due to the unevenness of the leather quality, it is unavoidable as long as the leather is a natural material.
Please note that it is the one and only individuality of leather.
