All parts are made from two thin pieces of leather pasted together into a single piece. Using a technique that is said to be the ultimate luxury in leather products , it achieves both strength and thinness . It takes a wealth of experience and skill to create a finish that looks like a single piece of leather without lifting or bending when folded.

For the ends, overlap the leather and sew on the outside. This is because we are particular about "thinness". If you fold the leather and roll it inside, you can make it smaller, but the leather will overlap and become thicker.
The details are faithful to the ideal of a thin wallet.
While pursuing thinness, the leather is sufficiently thick , and we value the textures typical of leather, such as tension and stiffness.
Inner hook without metal fittings
A new idea of using the stored cards as clasps
We devised an inner hook (patented) that hangs on cards instead of on the outside of the wallet.
The smart leather hook keeps the wallet thin and invisible from the outside .
This idea made possible the minimal design of the Hitoe® Fold Aria, a small, thin wallet without hardware .
Not only does it act as a clasp, but it also prevents the card from falling when you carry it.
Sandwiched with leather. But that's it.
Flat appearance just sandwiched between leather. There are no unnecessary parts such as metal fittings or flaps protruding, so it remains thin and won't get caught in your pocket.
It is designed so that the inner hook will not come off when turned inside out . Therefore, there is no need to worry about accidentally opening the top or bottom and dropping coins.
Minimal and smooth operation
It can be easily opened and closed by bending it into the dogleg shape, which is where the name "Fold" comes from. With this one action, you can smoothly insert and remove coins and cards while keeping the wallet vertical.
Leave the banknotes as they are without folding them
Just insert the banknotes without folding them . High visibility and easy to take out. There are no creases or tri-folds , so it fits smoothly into vending machines and self-checkout machines.
The bill holder has a continuous design with the inner hook. The curve acts as a guide, allowing you to insert and remove it smoothly without getting caught .
Prevent cards from falling
When closed, the inner hook hangs on the card so it won't fall . Adopts a slipless design (patent pending) that prevents cards from falling even when the wallet is open.
The feeling of sliding the card is of high quality, and it is comfortable to put in and take out the card.
Use temporary cards as billholders . There is no problem with opening and closing the wallet.
Smooth and overflowing coin pocket
The coin pocket is shallow and has no metal fittings such as zippers or hooks, so you can quickly take out the coins you need.
When storing the coin pocket, the lid of the coin pocket acts as a guide for smooth storage.
Also, if you close your wallet, the coins will not overflow. Even when the coin pocket is open, the lid of the coin pocket prevents it from overflowing.
There is plenty of room even if you put in 999 yen worth (15 pieces).

Design that follows the laws of nature
“Why is the golden ratio beautiful?”
The golden ratio of 1:1.62 is the aspect ratio of a rectangle with spiral repeating squares whose sides are the Fibonacci sequence . (Figure below)
In fact, the Fibonacci sequence is hidden everywhere in nature. The branches of trees, the number of petals, sunflower seeds, seashells, typhoons, spiral galaxies. It can also be found in art of the utmost beauty, such as the pyramids, the Parthenon, and the 36 Views of Mt.
The important thing is not to achieve the golden ratio. Proportions from the details to the whole follow the Fibonacci sequence , which is deeply related to nature and the providence of life, resulting in a well-balanced design that resonates with the heart .

Can be used beautifully for a long time
In general, most problems with wallets are caused by hardware or sewing. However, Hitoe® Fold, a small, thin wallet, uses no hardware and only has four stitches .
Furthermore, the corners that are easily damaged are layered with outer leather and inner leather to increase durability. The seam allowance is extremely small, making it a design that won't lose its shape even in a pants pocket .

Foschia means fog in Italian. The vegetable tanned oil leather is treated with white wax, giving it a look that resembles morning mist. The more you use it, the more translucent it becomes.

Foschia is the Italian word for "fog. Foschia is characterized by a white wax-covered look like morning mist. The more the leather is used, the more the wax permeates the leather, giving it a translucent appearance.
Tanning and Manufacturing
The leather is made from the shoulders of adult Scandinavian cows. After vegetable tanning, the surface is lightly buffed and white waxed. The tanning material used is cod, a legume native to South America. Although rare, it is the lightest colored vegetable tannin and has a lightfast finish. It can be tanned whiter than usual, and the beautiful light color is achieved using only dyes, not pigments.
Maintenance
Wax gradually permeates into the leather, giving it an elegant and natural shine. Since it also contains a moderate amount of oil, oil care is not necessary unless you are concerned about scratches or dryness.
Light colors have a delicate surface and are more prone to stains and scratches, so care should be taken when handling them.

Q & AQ. Do you have any tips for opening and closing the bag?
If you bend the border between the coin pocket and the card pocket in the shape of a "ku", the inner hook will come off and you can use it smoothly.
When closing, gently press down on the top of the pocket while bending it in a "ku" shape, and the inner hook will naturally fit into the card pocket. The trick is to keep your fingers away from the inner hook.
Q. It distorts when I close it.
This is caused by misuse of the inner hook on the outside of the wallet. Please use the inner hook only for the cards you wish to store (e.g. Hitoe Fold). 
Q. Will coins or cards spill?
If you hang the inner hook on the card, neither coins nor cards will spill.
Even when the wallet is open, the lid of the coin pocket prevents coins from spilling. However, there is a possibility of spillage if the wallet is opened and used horizontally. Please use the wallet in portrait orientation.
The non-slip card pockets are designed to prevent cards from falling out when the wallet is open. Please refer to the product description for the specifications of each product.
Q. Should I choose a right-handed or left-handed wallet?
Please choose right-handed if you handle cards or coins with your right hand, or left-handed if you handle them with your left hand.
Q. I am concerned about the sound of coins.
If you store coins in the pocket so that the coin pocket is vertical, you can prevent the sound of coins. Also, coins can be aligned more easily and automatically.
Q. Won't coins spill out if the front and back sides are mistaken?
A. No. With use, the leather will develop a habit. Also, we have designed the wallet so that it will not open if you mistake the front side for the back side.
